Ready to ring in 2026 with a front-row seat to celebrations around the world? LiveNOW from FOX has ambitious plans to broadcast nearly 24 hours of continuous New Year’s Eve festivities spanning multiple continents and time zones, all without requiring viewers to leave their living rooms.

“LiveNOW from FOX streams nearly 24 hours of global celebrations, starting at 5 a.m. ET on New Year’s Eve,” the network announced in its programming schedule for the upcoming end-of-year event.

Around the World in 24 Hours

The marathon broadcast will run from 5 a.m. ET on December 31, 2025, through 4 a.m. ET on January 1, 2026, taking viewers on a global journey as midnight strikes in different regions. The broadcast will feature fireworks displays, cultural celebrations, and festivities across multiple continents as the world collectively turns the calendar page.

Auckland, New Zealand will kick off the worldwide party as one of the first major cities to greet the new year. “Auckland, New Zealand was one of the first major cities in the world to welcome 2026 at 6 a.m. ET with a stunning New Year’s Eve fireworks and laser lights over the Sky Tower and Auckland Harbour Bridge,” FOX states in its preview materials.

Just two hours later, Sydney, Australia will put on its world-famous harbor display. The city will have “summertime fireworks before midnight over the harbor, followed shortly by midnight fireworks and lasers over Auckland’s Sky Tower and Harbour Bridge,” according to program details.

Iconic Celebrations Across Continents

As the Earth continues its rotation, the broadcast will showcase celebrations across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. “Dubai will light up the Burj Khalifa, Parisians will watch fireworks over the Arc de Triomphe, London will showcase fireworks along the Thames, and Rio’s Copacabana Beach will host thousands of people dressed in white,” the network previewed.

The global tour includes stops in China, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Greece, South Africa, Italy, England, and Brazil, among other locations. Each destination brings its unique cultural traditions to the celebration, offering viewers a diverse look at how different societies mark this universal milestone.

What’s special about Times Square this year? The iconic New York celebration will feature a patriotic theme with the famous ball drop being “red, white, and blue this year,” as described by the network.
