Costco Launches Hiyo Non-Alcoholic Sunset Party Pack Nationwide

Costco Rolls Out Limited-Time Non-Alcoholic Drink Option Nationwide

The non-alcoholic beverage boom just got a boost at America’s favorite warehouse club. Costco is introducing Hiyo’s Sunset Party Pack nationwide, bringing a fresh option to shoppers looking for booze-free alternatives with a bit of flair.

“Hiyo has landed on the floors of Costco warehouses nationwide,” the company announced as it launched its 18-count variety pack featuring three non-alcoholic tonic flavors priced at $34.04. The limited-time offering represents a significant expansion for the brand, which has been steadily growing its retail footprint.

What’s in the box?

The Sunset Party Pack doesn’t skimp on variety. Shoppers will find six cans each of blackberry lemon, peach mango, and passion fruit tangerine flavors in every package, according to reports from industry sources. It’s not the brand’s first dance with Costco — Hiyo previously tested a 4-flavor Classic Pack in select California and Colorado locations last August for $25.99.

Hiyo co-founder George Youmans isn’t shy about the company’s ambitions. “Hopefully this test run will perform well, and we’ll become an everyday item, but for now, go get our Costco-exclusive Sunset Party Pack (18pk) while you still can at your local Costco,” he stated, making it clear the current nationwide availability may not last forever.

Riding the non-alcoholic wave

The timing couldn’t be better for Hiyo. The brand has experienced a remarkable 212% growth in retail sales and is planning to double its distribution from 5,000 to 10,000 doors across national retailers in 2026, according to industry data.

But Hiyo isn’t alone in the non-alcoholic beverage gold rush. The alternative spirits segment is projected to nearly double from 2023 to 2033, reaching approximately $706 million. That’s just a fraction of the broader trend — the global nonalcoholic beverage market was valued at about $1.3 billion in 2024 and is expected to hit $5 billion by 2035.

Why the surge in alcohol-free options? Changing consumer preferences, wellness trends, and the desire for sophisticated alternatives to traditional soft drinks have all contributed to the category’s explosive growth.

Expanding retail presence

The Costco rollout adds to Hiyo’s already impressive retail footprint. The brand can now be found in more than 6,000 stores nationwide, including premium and mainstream retailers like Sprouts, Wegmans, Whole Foods Market, Target, and H-E-B, industry publication Beverage Daily notes.

For Costco members, the limited-time offer represents another example of the retailer’s expanding selection of trendy beverage options. The warehouse giant has increasingly embraced specialty drinks, functional beverages, and alcohol alternatives as consumer preferences evolve.

As for how long the Sunset Party Pack will remain on Costco shelves? That depends entirely on how quickly members snap them up — and whether Youmans gets his wish for Hiyo to become a permanent fixture in the warehouse club’s beverage aisle.
