A 24-year-old motorcyclist lost his life Saturday night in a fiery multi-vehicle crash on the LBJ Express Lane in Dallas, marking another tragic weekend on Texas highways.
The victim, identified as Jalijah Montez Craine, died when his motorcycle collided with concrete barriers during what authorities describe as a complex accident involving three motorcycles and a fourth vehicle. Dramatic video footage from the scene shows one motorcyclist desperately trying to warn approaching traffic before another bike crashed and erupted into flames.
Two additional riders suffered injuries in the December 20 pileup, which occurred on the LBJ Texpress lanes. The severity of their conditions hasn’t been released by Dallas police, who continue to investigate the circumstances leading to the crash.
