Fort Worth Twins Charged With Revenge Killings After 2021 Humiliation

Must read

Twin brothers in Fort Worth are facing murder charges in what police describe as a revenge killing tied to a humiliating 2021 incident where they were forced to strip naked at gunpoint.

Samuel and Solomon Gbadebo, both 20, were arrested last week in connection with two separate November killings that investigators say left two young men dead in the north Fort Worth area.

The first victim, 19-year-old Devan Randles, was fatally shot on November 15, 2025, at an apartment complex on Augusta Lane. Just two weeks later, 20-year-old Isaiah Gonzales was killed while sitting in his car outside Flips Patio Grill, shot through the windshield in what authorities now believe was a calculated act of revenge.

A Humiliation Turned Deadly

What connects these seemingly separate murders? According to court documents, one killing appears to be payback for a years-old robbery that left a lasting scar — both emotional and digital.

The investigation took a dramatic turn when police discovered video evidence during a search of Gonzales’ belongings. The footage, dating back to 2021, showed two young Black men being held at gunpoint and forced to remove their clothing. “Using facial recognition technology, they were able to identify the men in the video as the Gbadebo twins,” the arrest affidavit states.

Police believe Gonzales had recorded the humiliating encounter, which apparently remained in his possession until his death. The twins, who would have been around 16 at the time of the recorded incident, apparently never forgot the humiliation.

Two Murders, Two Weeks Apart

The first killing occurred at a north Fort Worth apartment complex near I-35W. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots around 11:30 p.m. on November 15, with first responders finding Randles with fatal gunshot wounds. The connection between Randles and the twins remains under investigation.

The second murder — now believed to be the revenge killing — happened in the early morning hours of November 30 in the parking lot of Flips Patio Grill, not far from the site of the first shooting. Gonzales was found slumped over his steering wheel with multiple gunshot wounds fired through the windshield of his vehicle.

Security footage from nearby businesses revealed two individuals matching the twins’ descriptions approaching Gonzales’ car before fleeing the scene.

Could the brothers have been planning this revenge for years? Detectives believe the timing suggests the twins had been tracking Gonzales’ movements, possibly waiting for the right opportunity.

“This case illustrates how a single humiliating incident can fester for years before erupting into deadly violence,” said Fort Worth Police Detective Marla Simmons at yesterday’s press briefing.

Both brothers are being held on $1 million bond each at the Tarrant County Jail. Their attorney, Marcus Williams, has declined to comment on the specifics of the allegations but stated his clients “maintain their innocence and look forward to their day in court.”

If convicted, the twins could face life imprisonment. The district attorney hasn’t yet indicated whether they’ll seek the death penalty.
