Lavon Police officers responded to the 700 block of Wellington Drive in the Crestridge Subdivision at approximately 8:50 p.m. on December 13, 2025, where they discovered an adult male victim who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to authorities. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, identified only as a juvenile, fled the area on foot before officers arrived. Law enforcement has indicated they will not release further identifying information about the suspect due to their age, complicating the public search effort.
