A Lewisville police officer has been arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child after allegedly being caught engaged in sexual activity with a 16-year-old in Heath, Texas.
Zacur Vargas, 32, was taken into custody around 6 a.m. on December 12, 2025, according to officials. The off-duty officer was reportedly discovered in a public place with the minor, leading to his immediate arrest by Heath Department of Public Safety officers.
