Vehicle Fire at Disneyland’s Pixar Pals Parking Structure Extinguished Quickly

A fire broke out in the Pixar Pals parking structure at Disneyland, Anaheim, California, on Friday, April 4, 2025, around 9:40 a.m. The incident involved a Toyota Rav4 that initially caught fire, with flames spreading to two or three other vehicles. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

Anaheim firefighters quickly responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. Video footage showed black smoke rising over the parking structure, highlighting the intensity of the blaze. While the fire was contained without significant damage to the structure, it was unclear whether it impacted parking or Disney Resort operations.

“The fire was quickly extinguished, and four vehicles sustained fire damage,” said Sgt. Jon McClintock of the Anaheim Police Department. He added, “No injuries were reported, and the structure was not damaged.”

The cause of the fire remains undetermined as of now. The Anaheim Fire Department played a crucial role in responding to the emergency and ensuring public safety within the Disneyland area.

A separate incident involving a stolen car chase had occurred in the same area recently, causing temporary disruptions but was unrelated to the fire. This highlights the importance of rapid response by local authorities in managing diverse situations.

The incident did not appear to have a major impact on Disneyland’s overall operations, although some delays may have occurred during the response. Visitors to the park reported minimal disruption to their experience.

“We were in line for Space Mountain when we saw the smoke,” said Sarah Thompson, a park visitor. “The Cast Members assured us everything was under control, and the ride continued operating normally.”

As investigations into the cause of the fire continue, Disney officials and local authorities are working together to ensure the safety of all visitors and employees at the Disneyland Resort. The quick response and efficient handling of the situation demonstrate the preparedness of emergency services in dealing with such incidents at major tourist attractions.

Visitors planning to park at the Pixar Pals structure are advised to check for any updates or temporary changes in parking arrangements. Disneyland Resort officials stated that they are cooperating fully with the fire department’s investigation and will implement any necessary safety measures based on the findings.
