Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her Catalina Foothills residence on February 1, 2026, with evidence suggesting she was forcibly removed by an armed individual. The FBI has released chilling surveillance footage showing a masked person tampering with her doorbell camera in the early morning hours.
A Calculated Abduction
Security video captured at 1:47 a.m. shows a disturbing scene: a person wearing a balaclava, gloves, and carrying a backpack with a holstered gun approaching Guthrie’s front door. The suspect methodically disconnected the doorbell camera, with additional footage showing the armed individual tampering with the device at 2:12 a.m.
“At this point, investigators believe she was taken from her home against her will, possibly in the middle of the night,” authorities stated. “Taken against her will includes possible kidnapping or abduction. She couldn’t walk 50 yards by herself.”
