Another shooting has rocked the same White Settlement house where gunfire erupted last year, leaving a woman hospitalized and nearby schools temporarily locked down Wednesday morning.
Police are actively searching for multiple suspects after the shooting at a residence in the 600 block of Meadow Park Drive. The incident marks the second shooting at the exact same property in less than a year, raising concerns about ongoing violence in the neighborhood, authorities confirmed.
“A woman has been transported to the hospital after being shot in a house in White Settlement, the same house that saw a different woman injured in a shooting last year,” White Settlement Police Chief Christopher Cook said, adding that “the active scene remains under investigation.” The victim’s condition has not been released.
Suspects Flee Scene
Witnesses described a chaotic scene as the suspects fled. “Police say they are looking for two to three young adult or teen males who fled the scene. They were wearing dark clothing and hooded sweatshirts,” and reportedly escaped in a green vehicle, according to law enforcement statements.
The timing of the incident prompted safety measures at nearby schools. Liberty Elementary and Brewer Middle School were temporarily placed in “Secure” status during the police response — a protocol where “students and staff are brought into the building, and the outside doors are locked. Inside, school is conducted as usual,” school officials explained.
Haven’t we seen this before? The same residence was the site of another shooting in June 2025 that left a 17-year-old girl with multiple gunshot wounds. In that case, authorities identified 20-year-old Alejandro Carrasco Jr. as the shooter who “also accidentally shot himself in the foot during the incident” that reportedly stemmed from an illegal vape transaction.
Pattern of Violence
The recurring violence at this specific address has prompted questions about what connection, if any, exists between the two shootings. Police have not yet indicated whether they believe the incidents are related beyond sharing the same location.
Neighbors expressed growing unease about the property. “Two shootings in less than a year isn’t a coincidence,” said one resident who asked not to be named. “Something’s not right about that house.”
As the investigation continues, White Settlement police are urging anyone with information about the suspects or their green vehicle to contact authorities immediately. Meanwhile, a house that should provide shelter has once again become a crime scene—leaving residents wondering when, or if, the cycle of violence will end.
