Americans Spent Over $2.6 Billion on OnlyFans in 2025, Texas Cities Among Top Spenders

Americans are spending big on adult content, shelling out more than $2.6 billion on OnlyFans in 2025 — nearly five times more than the next highest-spending country. The figure puts the U.S. far ahead of the United Kingdom, which ranked second with $531 million in spending.

The subscription-based platform, which allows creators to sell photos and videos directly to fans, saw global revenue reach $7.2 billion last year, marking a 9% increase from 2024. While the platform hosts content across various categories, it’s widely known for adult and sexually explicit material.

Texas Cities Among Top Global Spenders

Houston has emerged as a significant player in OnlyFans spending, ranking 11th worldwide with nearly $32 million spent in 2025. That represents a 4.09% increase compared to the previous year, according to data analyzed for this report.

Dallas wasn’t far behind, placing 15th globally with $26 million in OnlyFans purchases. Unlike Houston, however, Dallas saw a slight decline in spending — down 1.28% from 2024 levels.

“When broken down by region, Houston accounted for the fifth-highest spending total in North and South America, while Dallas came in at number eight,” a spokesperson noted in a statement about the findings.

What’s driving these regional differences? While the data doesn’t explain consumer behavior, the numbers reflect broader global patterns where urban centers dominate OnlyFans spending.

Global Rankings Show Urban Concentration

New York City topped the global list with $87 million spent on the platform, followed by Los Angeles and London, which tied at $71 million each. Other major spenders included Milan and Sydney (both at $58 million), Chicago ($47 million), and Melbourne ($47.6 million).

The top 20 global cities represent a diverse geographic spread, with strong showing from North American, European, and Asia-Pacific metropolitan areas. Bangkok ($31.9 million), Singapore ($26 million), and Helsinki ($21.3 million) rounded out the list’s geographic diversity.

Austin also made its mark, though not in the global top 20. The Texas capital placed 16th in the Americas with $17.5 million spent, showing a modest 0.87% increase from 2024.

Americas Spending Patterns

Within the Americas, the spending hierarchy largely follows population and wealth distribution patterns. After New York and Los Angeles, Chicago led with $47 million, followed by Mexico City at $38.9 million.

Toronto matched Houston’s $32 million, while Atlanta and Dallas both reported $26 million in OnlyFans spending. Santiago, Chile, also reached the $26 million mark, highlighting the platform’s reach across both North and South America.

Other notable American cities in the regional top 20 included Denver, Seattle, and San Diego (all at $21.3 million), along with Miami, Las Vegas, and Philadelphia (each at $17.5 million).

While these figures represent significant consumer spending, they also reflect the growing economic impact of creator-based platforms in the digital economy — an industry that continues to expand despite economic fluctuations in other sectors.
